Exceptional Real Estate Service!
I am homeowner and when I needed to sell my house I thought about using a full service broker. After interviewing many brokers I ultimately decided to try to sell my house on my own. I then turned to www.ownerentry.com. You get the MLS listing and syndication services such as Trulia, Zillow, Yahoo RE, Realtor.com, just like all the other services out there, but there were several key differentiators including:
1) The listing is in perpetuity. You can stop and start the listing until your product is sold, it never expires. You can also remove and re-list your property back on the market at no additional charge.
2) The contract was simple. There were no confusing wording regarding percentages and fees.
3) Most importantly there was David White. You don’t just get a listing service, you get a broker who guides you through the process and gives you advice about best practices. He is always online and willing to answer any question any time or day of the week. The majority of my inquiries and issues were late in the day and on weekends. His turnaround was never more than a couple of hours. The reason this is important is that brokers will call the listing agent broker of record even though you instruct them to call a property owner. You have to have someone who represents you well. Technically, that is not what you buy with a listing service – but it is what you get from David White.
At the end of the day, ultimately I care about results. After listing my house in March 2013, I had 6 offers over 2 weeks. I have 2 backup offers and settled on an offer at a 60% premium.
